In order to unlock the "Arcade Mode" option at the extra menu and the "Mirror Mode" option at the arcade mode menu, you must first complete the game.
Machine Gun
Complete the game in "Arcade Mode" with the pistol. This will unlock the machine gun when you start a new game in "Arcade Mode".
Cane Gun
Complete the game in "Arcade Mode" with the machine gun. This will unlock the cane gun when you start a new game in "Arcade Mode.
Shotgun
Complete the game in "Arcade Mode" with the cane gun. This will unlock the shotgun when you start a new game in "Arcade Mode".
Hyper Arcade Mode
Complete the game in "Arcade Mode" with the shotgun. This will unlock "Hyper Arcade Mode" under the "Arcade Mode" menu.
Mighty Joe Jupiter Trilogy
Complete all of the Mighty levels in "Cadet Training Mode". This will unlock the "Mighty Joe Jupiter Trilogy" option in "Mighty Joe Jupiter Mode". Complete the easy levels in cadet training mode to unlock Mighty Joe Jupiter Episode 2 and complete the normal levels in cadet training mode to unlock Mighty Joe Jupiter Episode 3.
Music Jukebox Mode
Complete all three episodes of the "Mighty Joe Jupiter Trilogy". This will unlock the "Music Jukebox" option in the "Options" menu
