Name Cheats
All Skill: After you have beaten the game with Leon, start a new game without overwriting the original one, and enter the name "@llskill" to get a maxed-out Leon.

Crazy: After you have beaten the game with Leon, start a new game without overwriting the original one, and enter the name "@crazy" to get a more difficult game.

Joachim: After you have beaten the game with Leon, start a new game without overwriting the original one, and enter the name "@joachim" to play as Joachim.

Pumpkin: After you have beaten the game with Joachim, start a new game without overwriting the original one, and enter the name "@pumpkin" to play as the pumpkin.

Free Items Glitch

There are at least two places in the game where if you go and pause the game and look through your items, you will duplicate those items. One location is on a green area of carpet in the hallway before the save room in the castle (face the mirror). The other is in the Pagoda of Misty Moon in the hallway on the second floor on the east side of the stage (stand near the imprint on the carpet).

Unlockables

Boss Rush Mode: Finish the game and then you can enter the Boss Rush mode in the stage select room with that character.

Jade Mask: If you finish the game, this will be for sale at the shop.

Mobius Brooch: If you finish the game, this will be for sale at the shop.

Sound Test: If you finish the game, this will be for sale at the shop
