Cheat mode
Press Up(2), Down(2), A, B, A, B at the title screen. Then hold A and press Start. After this Press Up or Down to select a new starting level. You will also start with 80 lives and 99 Miracle kicks.
Extra Continue
Hold A + B and press Start when the title screen reappears after the game over screen, and the game will let you continue
