Like NBA Jam, during the versus screen use your buttons to change around the squares on the screen in order to form a code function. After you have fixed the squares in the position you want them to be, and you want to confirm the code, press any direction on the D-pad. The name of the code should flash if everything worked out effectively. Remember that you can enter more than one code at a time.
