To get your initial weapons import:

First in the file select,enter a new game with the name X-X!V''Q[the luck cheat]when you are playing as Alucard, go to the room before Death takes your stuff away.In that room you will see three wolves.Kill them all and at the end unequip all you items except for your sword,your cape and your two necklaces.Remember to take your potions and food so that you will not die because at the start you are very weak.At this point,go back to the room you last went and return to the room again.Kill the first wolf and try to jump over the second one.It will take some time before you jump across it.So, use your chicken,and turkey found in this room and the previous.But,remember you cannot attack the wolf or all is lost.Your defence should be at 12 with the things you have unequipped.let the wolf lunge at you and you will "fly across" the room bypassing Death's room and you will still have your original weapons!cool huh!But be patient it takes time.I've tried it and it works!And one more thing,if you ever return to that room,your weapons will be taken away.you can access the front part of the castle by the underwater vein.

Play as Richter:Beat the game with Alucard.Start a new game and enter the name RICHTER.Then you can play as Richter Belmont.

Axe Lord Armor :Enter AXEARMOR at the name entry screen to play with this suit of armor.

Advanced Luck :At the name entry screen enter X-X!V''Q to get incredibly high luck
